Tick and Special Deal

Positive Tick shows that transactions are being conducted at the ask price.   That means people want to buy.

negiative tick shows that transactions are being conducted at the bid price.   That means that on average, people are selling.

What does it mean when the price goes up, yet the tick is negative and getting more negative.

Hmmmm....for you non- conspiracists out there, please provide an explanation.

It means that most people are selling, and yet some buyers are buying and getting very bad deals.    What kind of buyers would do this day after day?

Only the type that is not using their own money, and have some type of vested interest in seeing higher prices.
